I wanna live in a cottage down the countryside, with white picket fences around it and brown wooden fences down the lanes.
it must be somewhere not too near, but not too far from civilization. maybe down a secret turn in the road on the street.
it will be on the edge of the woods, covered in moss, with a spring bubbling nearby, the air will be fresh and rejuvenating.
i'll explore the woods when the weather is right. tie a string to a tree, and off i'll go!
i'll find hollow thrunks to make tree houses and secret caves where i'll find nests of mice, lizards and birds.
i'll keep a backyard, so that i can plant my own food, and tend the garden when i like it.
i'll keep a few chicken and geese loitering around, those wild rabbits, squirrels, hedgehogs, foxes and little birds will come and play.
i'll plant flowers in many different shapes, make paths lined with pebbles, make a tiny pond, and keep delightfully colorful fishes in it,and maybe even a few ducks if they'll stay!
i'll put garden gnomes everywhere, they'll come alive at night, they might even help me weed the garden.
i'll have a well in the back, where the water will be fresh and life-giving.
i'll take seasons, i'll have a simple wardrobe of mixed clothing, from thick woollen jackets and knee-high boots to spag tops and daisy dukes. i wont have to worry about fashion and all the crap corrupting everyone's minds.
oh! and infront of the house, near the wooden fences, is an endless stretch of meadow, when spring comes there'll be millions of flowers and glorious green knee high grass, i'll be frolicking in the meadow, in the sun all day, watch the sunset on a hill nearby. get freckles and sunburns. get rosy pink cheeks, freckles and sun-streaked hair.
i'll sleep on a straw mat, with hay for my blanket, my furniture will be all wooden, i'll even build some myself!
and oh! how could i have forgotten about the ponies! i'll have ponies in my makeshift stable, i'll have a makeshift wooden shed too! i'll keep my gardening tools and trinkets in it.
I'll have a clay oven, where i'll bake wonderful pastries and my favorite breads.
I'll make bird nests out of sticks, and hope little birds come live in it. I'll make friends with them, and feed them whenever I can.
in the winter the woods will turn white and the tress turn bare, in the autumn the whole forest turns yellow and red, i'll take so many pictures of everything, when the hills are dotted with colors of heather flowers, when baby rabbits pay a visit to my garden, i'll keep them year after year, and show them to everyone if they want to see.
i'll sneak upon the fairies when their doors open at twelve, maybe they'll grant me a wish! and they'll show me their wonderful little houses, hand me little fairy treats.
at night, there'll be millions of stars!i could take a straw mat out into the heather meadow or up a hill, lie there and gaze till there's only the universe and my eyes.
I'll spot all the constellations and catch falling stars in my hands.
and all without a care in the world.
