Oh! and looking at this stupid expression reminded me of how i felt when i discovered what google maps could do.
For starters, damn, i knew singapore was small, but that small?
I bet no one knew you can't even see it on the map! Nope, its not a tiny dot, it dosen't even exist okay!
my primary school teacher was completely wrong, she once made a joke that singapore is so small that you place a finger on the map and you cannot see it already, I now realize a pin would be sufficient. The teeny hole the needle makes is enough to contain singapore.
gosh it blew my mind. because the wide expanse of the rest of the world suddenly came into proportion in my mind! imagine the people you will never know, places you will never be able to finish visiting even in ten lifetimes.
then think of how tiny the earth is compared to the rest of the universe.. okay i am getting overboard.
But seriously, I am very sure none of you knew that! *adamant*
okay other than that suaku discovery i made, I accidentally stumbled on something i didnt thought was possible.
did you know that you can virtually visit places in most of the world? I clicked into the smallest available size, and it brought me into street view. you can bloody see the buildings and people and cars even! gosh!
I saw the rob's butcher and jean's video rentals and all those crazy things!
i spent half an hour visiting Hawaii hahaha! they are so cute, sitting in the middle of nowhere.
I tried looking in las vegas too haha! go take a look!!
