You know what really pisses me off on fb?
Posts theists write about how god is proven to exist.
These posts begin with a picture and then a long paragraphs about how someone proved that god exists, usually in a form of a conversation with bombastic words and epic moments where they supposedly proved they were right again.
They usually use deep, un-meaningful words to make themselves sound knowledgeable but once you read and understand it, its bullshit. The premise in stating whatever they are saying is missing most of the time and the theories are generally flawed. And I haven't gotten to my point yet.
These shit don't make me pissed, I don't give a damn about what people wanna write, you can create a religion a day if you want, knock yourselves out.
What makes me fume is you people who share it, INSIST it is true, and thus displaying your serious lack in IQ or even simple linguistic skills. Read, and understand!! why can't you do that?!
Whenever i see it, i get mad at the ludicrous content all over again.
I guess that caption on 9gag was true, 'I don't hate your god, I hate your followers'
You may say don't go hatin' on them, they didn't do shit to you. Oh yeah, well, I am leaving them well alone, so sorry, but there's simply too many around, and some of them just happen to force it upon you in real life.
I can list at least ten occasions where this happened to me, fml.
Then I think of how they alter their stories to fit a new breakthrough in science, to me, its excuses galore.
The bible says, god says, omg where do they come from!?!?!
The bible is written by men, hundreds of years after Jesus supposedly walked the earth. Credible much?
There is a story about an 80 year old woman And a virgin who gets pregnant. Yeah nice try, ninja much?
God created humans and everything. There is no evolution going on. Haha I got no words for this.
And you wanna know what shit you say? Einstein proved that god exists. I would have shut up if this isn't what you posted, but this is taking it too damn far. Einstein has NEVER believed in any particular god, granted, he didn't declare himself a complete atheist too, he simply thought religions were childish and there is some thing bigger which our limited minds cannot fathom.
This came from his thinking that science is still limited which in his age was. And the funniest thing about the post is that Einstein himself said that science theories are flawed. I LOLed at it. Talk about irony, one does not simply place einstein's name in something brainless and against what he did for his whole life to try to convince people. it simply isn't gonna work!
But sadly, it did. And I hesitate to say this, but the people who posted and shared these are quite stupid irl, sorry to say it, your ignorance may be blissful to you. Haha.
So talk about science and religion, you know they don't mix, Yet you believe in both.and the one without backing up you call it faith, I call it foolishness and fear of death. You are simply seeking for solace in the thoughts that you will eventually die and you don't live properly for once in your life. Is that what you want?
Okay, I digress.
And I suppose I'm feeling a bit of a rebellion because not only did the posts convince me, they made me even more an atheist. And hereon I proclaim no proof/evidence, no god to my principles. Show me dieties, or bust!
I shan't continue, because there is no end to this.
I could go on about how they take your money and time and use the same theories to go round and round, but this is long enough.
My conclusion on their tactic? To haul foolish people in; if you can't convince them, you confuse them.
and fyi, I'm not here to antagonize, I'm here to state my opinion and whatever I think is right. :)
